Kennel Ulvedalen is a purebreed Siberian Husky kennel, owned by Susan Hansen and Bo Petersen and was FCI registered  1. june 2003.

SPHK -  The Swedish Club for Polar breeds

DPHK - The Danish Club for Polar breeds

We breed Siberian Husky primarily based on racing lines from Germany and Sweden.

Although we have some great dogs of the sprinttype on the kennel, it is the mid-distance type of the Siberian, that we will breed.

We have right now 17 dogs living on the kennel, age 1-9 years - 11 males and 6 females.

We believe in the bloodlines of our current racing dogs. They are strong, hardworking and focused, very easy to handle, healthy, eating and drinking well. They are happy and social dogs with a great mentality.

We have been competing since 2000, where we got our first siberian husky, Jabba, who is the king of the kennel.

Until now we have been competing in the sprint-classes for 4- or 6-dogs dogroller and velo 1-2 dogs in races on gravel and in 4-dogs sprint on snow.

Our plans for the future are mainly to compete in mid-distance races on snow.

Unfortunately the trainingconditions in Denmark are not suitable for this purpose,

so of that reason we have decided to move the kennel to the south of Sweden, where we can improve our trainingconditions a lot. Our house in Denmark is therefor announced for sale.

Kennel Ulvedalen is not a commercial kennel and we only plan to and breed puppies in the need of new dogs to our teams. We will sell puppies only to existing mushers or people who want to start up with dogdriving.

Bo and Susan ! 

Susan are educated as a teacher in creative design and art and biology.

Susan are examined breeder from the Danish Kennel Clubs breeder-education.

Besides the training and competing with the dogs, Susan are also training and competing in cross country running on distances from 10-25 km. Maybe she will run The Copenhagen Marathon in one or two years

Bo are educated as a bachelor in  enviromental biology.

Bo is the handyman on the kennel and he ensures that the sledges, dogrollers and the other equipment is in good shape.

Bo is primarily mushing the big teams with 8-12 dogs and are normally the musher when we are driving with guests.
